Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ice
  • 2-3 tablespoons of Loose Leaf Oolong Tea
  • 8 ounces 236ml of Hot Water (185-200°F)
  • 2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of Hot Water for dissolving sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of Califia Oat Milk Barista Edition

Instructions

  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of loose leaf oolong tea to a French press. Pour approximately 8 ounces of hot water (185-200°F) over the tea leaves in the French press. Cover the French press with its lid and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot water, maintaining a 1:1 ratio for sugar. Stir the brown sugar into the hot water until it completely dissolves.
  • Allow the brewed oolong tea to cool for about 30-45 minutes. Once cooled, press the French press lid down to separate the tea leaves from the liquid.
  • In a shaker bottle, place one cup of ice. Pour the cooled oolong tea and the dissolved brown sugar into the shaker bottle. Add 4 tablespoons of your milk of choice.
  • Seal the shaker bottle and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. This will blend all the flavors together beautifully.
  • Finally, pour your Oolong Milk Tea into a cup, insert a straw, and savor the refreshing blend of oolong tea, sweetness, and creaminess.
