  • 5 oz. 141g bittersweet chocolate (60% Cacao), chopped
  • ½ cup 125ml heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon 8g powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Chop the bittersweet chocolate into small chunks. Place the chocolate chunks into a heatproof mixing bowl. Heat the cream until it just starts to bubble.
  • Carefully pour the hot cream over the chocolate chunks in the mixing bowl, submerging them completely.
  • Set the bowl aside and allow the chocolate to melt in the hot cream for 2 to 3 minutes. Use a spatula to mix the cream and chocolate until smooth and well combined.
  • Once the mixture is smooth, add the powdered sugar, cayenne pepper, and vanilla extract. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
